We are seeking highly qualified musicians with an understanding of music theory who exemplify professionalism and transparency, with strong communication skills, a desire to grow in teaching skills, and a passion for seeing students grow in their understanding of music. Expectations Complete understanding and utilization of school curriculum to prepare for each lesson Teaching in alignment with our company values & mission Logging lessons by end of day on Student Portal Communication/Transparency in all regards including, but not limited to: communicating schedule changes, availability, make-up lessons, asking questions when unsure of something, etc. Recital prep & attendance in December and May Maintain company communication posted in Slack Instructor development assignments via lesson audio recordings, lesson forms, performance reviews, etc. More Information Annual teaching contracts (September-June) Summer session (July-August) Additional summer camp opportunities (July-August) Background check (provided and paid for by EMS) - required
