Elementary Music Teacher

Job Description

Inspire elementary learners to discover the joy of music through engaging lessons that cover basic theory, vocal performance, and introductory instruments. Integrate biblical principles into the curriculum by including songs that help students deepen their faith and understanding of God's love. Lead student concerts and foster a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment where every child feels valued. Grace Academy offers a Pre-Kindergarten through 12th-grade education with a biblical worldview. Students are creatively taught in a Christian atmosphere to think accurately and rigorously. With this understanding, the candidate should be able to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials. Prepare lesson plans, develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, and manage student behavior in accordance with Grace Academy policies. Plan and use appropriate instructional/learning strategies, activities, and materials to reflect the individual needs of the students. Establish and maintain a professional relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
