Job Description

Ted Brown Music is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled part-time Drums/Percussion Instructor to join our growing Lesson Studio team in Richland, WA. We are seeking someone who is passionate about teaching, committed to student growth, and excited to foster a welcoming, inspiring learning environment for musicians of all ages and skill levels. As a Drums/Percussion Instructor, you will have the freedom to tailor your teaching style, set your own schedule, and cultivate your own student base—with the stability and support of being an employee rather than an independent contractor.

Ted brown Music is a family owned and operated one stop music source. Our doors opened in 1931, and we continue with a 95-year-old tradition, facilitating musical needs. We are a local company with locations in Tacoma, Puyallup, Richland, Yakima, Silverdale and Seattle. This has provided us with statewide name recognition and a leader for kids and adult music lessons. What You'll Do Teach private, 1-on-1 drum lessons to students ranging from beginners to advanced players Create individualized lesson plans based on student goals, experience, and learning style Maintain a welcoming, professional, and encouraging studio environment Communicate clearly with students and families regarding progress, expectations, and scheduling Participate in recitals, studio events, or performance opportunities as desired Represent Ted Brown Music with professionalism, positivity, and a passion for music education Why Teach at Ted Brown Music?
