Teachers should have formal training in music as well as a minimum of one year teaching experience. Weekly lessons are conducted in a professional atmosphere and require high level interpersonal skills to coordinate weekly assignments and help gain confidence in a student roster of varying abilities and styles. Instructors must demonstrate competence in performing in pop, classical, musical theater and jazz styles.
