Social Studies Teacher, 1.00 FTE Schaghticoke Middle School New Milford Public Schools serves approximately 3,500 students from prekindergarten through 12th grade with the support of 645 staff, including 355 certified staff, providing a comprehensive education focused on academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement. The district includes two elementary schools, an intermediate school, Schaghticoke Middle School and New Milford High School, all dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The district also values strong partnerships between educators, parents, and the community to enhance student success.Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a valid and current Connecticut State Certificate appropriate to the above subject or be eligible for CT State Certification Possesses a degree from an accredited college or university Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable It is necessary that candidates supply us with at least 2 current, dated and signed (no later than 2024) letters of reference, resume, cover letter, copy of teaching certificate and copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
