Job Description
Job Description Summary Saint Leo University is currently seeking qualified candidates in the Saint Leo, Florida area for our adjunct availability pool in theology and religion. In particular, we are looking for candidates with graduate-level backgrounds in any of the following areas: World religions and/or comparative theology (for REL 223: Religions of the World course) Hebrew scriptures and/or New Testament (for REL 115: Introduction to Scripture) Catholic theology and/or philosophy (for REL 125: Faith and Reason) Moral theology and/or religious ethics (for REL 215: Religious Ethics of War and Peace) Job Description Qualified applicants, transcripts, and materials will be reviewed and processed in preparation for assignment-based student enrollment needs for upcoming terms. Select adjuncts from the pool are contracted term-by-term based on course/section need and availability. Saint Leo University reserves the right to not schedule and/or cancel courses based on enrollment. Applications are processed upon the receipt of all official transcripts while the posting is active.
Required:
Masters degree inTheology or Religious Studies Job Expectations :
Instructors will be considered for needs that arise in our master's or doctoral programs in theology. Those hired will be considered for graduate teaching and graduate course development as needed.Typical job expectations are:
