DAME, Notre Dame, IN. The Department of Philosophy seeks to appoint a chairholder to the McMahon-Hank Professor of Philosophy. We welcome qualified applicants working in any subfield of Philosophy. Appointment to begin Fall Semester 2027.

Open. Standard teaching load in the department is 2:1 (3 classes per academic year). Duties include teaching, research, and service. Salary competitive. Semester system.

Candidates must have a Ph. D. in Philosophy or a closely related field.
