Yeshiva University High School for Boys is seeking to hire a Rebbe to mentor and guide students, to serve as a Jewish studies sub, a Shoel U'Meishiv for high-level shiurim, and to teach Jewish studies classes.
Position Responsibilities:
Teaching This position is an integrated member of our faculty, serving in a Judaic Studies teaching capacity as a rebbe. This position will include substitute Jewish studies shiur, serve as shoel u'meishiv, teach a bekiyus class, and perform other functions that may be assigned.
Experience & Education Background:
Undergraduate + advanced Rabbinical ordination Ability to read, speak, and teach in Hebrew Knowledge of Talmudic and Biblical texts
Skills & Competencies:
Speaks clearly and expresses self well in one-on-one conversations and groups Develops effective relationships with peers, students, and employees Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through conclusion Identifies, defines, and analyzes information and situations before recommending a course of action Effectively manages own time and resources Seeks to apply technology and innovation to improve efficiency and solve problems
