Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary seeks an Associate or Full Professor (Tenure-track or Tenured) for The Lampsato Chair in Baptist World Missional Engagement and Director of the Baptist World Alliance Program who can start August 1, 2026. D., in an appropriate field of study no later than December 31, 2025. Prior classroom and ministry experience will be valued highly. Preference will be given to those with a M.Div. Additionally, candidates must be committed to the Baptist tradition with evidence of active involvement in Baptist church life. Responsibilities -

Teaching, Administration, Research, and Service:

Candidates should have administrative experience and the ability to interface with Baptist constituents worldwide. Candidates should have a research agenda and the ability to publish. Candidates should have the capacity to teach courses in the areas of Baptist History, Polity, Theology, and/or Witness.
