The Hampton Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Professor to teach Philosophy courses (critical thinking, logic, reasoning, and ethics).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Corresponds routinely with the Dean of Instruction. Fosters academic excellence in teaching and learning. Instruct students in accordance with College policies/curricula. Effectively prepares for class and encourages students to participate in College activities. Supports College extracurricular functions. Remains current in the teaching field through professional development. Prepares and submits Beginning-of-Term and, End-of-Term paperwork in a timely fashion. Coordinates student internships and assists in recruiting internship sites. Promotes campus activities. Provides instruction for day, evening, and/or weekend classes. Provides instruction in face-to-face, virtual, online, and blended modalities. Maintains technological proficiency, including Microsoft products (Outlook and Teams) and Learning Management Systems (Blackboard).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's in Philosophy

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1-3 years of teaching experience is preferred. Ability to interact and work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. Leadership, integrity, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

range $2,400-2,600 per a 3-contact hour course for a 15-week semester Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position.
