Assess student progress through standardized testing, skill evaluations, and ongoing formative assessments. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional modifications, and integration of educational technology tools. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and participation in physical activities. Adapt lessons for students with special education needs or diverse cultural backgrounds to ensure inclusive participation. Requirements Proven experience teaching physical education at the middle or high school level, including working with teenagers. Strong knowledge of sports coaching techniques, childhood development, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with educational compliance regulations, standardized testing protocols, and curriculum implementation standards. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and public speaking engagements. Ability to utilize learning technology tools for lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment purposes. Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and those with special education needs. Certification or licensure in physical education or related field is preferred; relevant experience in private or Montessori school settings is a plus.
