Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop motor skills through a variety of sports and fitness programs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Teach students the fundamentals of various sports and physical activities while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and inclusion among students. Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum. Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as sports teams or fitness clubs. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in physical education classes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred. Valid CA teaching certification or licensure in Physical Education. University experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities. Knowledge of current trends in physical education and fitness practices. Ability to create a safe and engaging learning environment for all students.
