The ideal candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop motor skills through a variety of sports and fitness programs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Teach students the fundamentals of various sports and physical activities while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in physical education classes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred. Valid CA teaching certification or licensure in Physical Education. University experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities. Knowledge of current trends in physical education and fitness practices.
