9529084-93030 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in the lives of preschoolers as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher working with students aged 3-5. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, and offers the chance to collaborate with another passionate SLP and serve a vibrant caseload of up to 50 delightful preschoolers across multiple school sites. Youll be working closely with other dedicated professionals in an environment that values collaboration and individualized support. Your creativity and expertise will empower young learners to reach their fullest potential in adaptive PE. The district also has ongoing needs for occupational therapy, allowing for rewarding interdisciplinary teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide adaptive physical education services to preschool students, tailoring activities for diverse ability levels Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, and other staff to support holistic student development Travel between several school sites to serve caseload needs Maintain clear, ongoing communication with families and school personnel

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid Adaptive Physical Education Teacher certification in California Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school setting Knowledge of special education laws and best practices Team player mindset and strong communication skills Comfort with technology and conducting documentation requirements
