Responsibilities include assisting teachers with daily classroom instruction and student supervision, fostering a positive learning environment, planning and leading age-appropriate PE lessons and games, supervising students during the after-school program, and modeling Christian values in all interactions. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, enjoys working with children, and is committed to supporting the school's mission and biblical worldview. Duties Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and physical education classes to ensure safety and positive behavior. Lead physical education activities that promote motor skills, teamwork, and healthy habits in accordance with age-appropriate standards. Help maintain an organized classroom environment by preparing materials, managing supplies, and supporting classroom routines. Collaborate closely with teachers to monitor student progress, assist in literacy education efforts, and support individualized learning plans. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and curriculum development strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, parents, and staff. Technical proficiency with educational tools and classroom management software is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to assist with classroom management and behavior guidance techniques. Experience in school settings or private schools is a plus.
