Situated in vibrant San Francisco, this full-time contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, encompassing 184 instructional days. In this itinerant role, you'll have the chance to work with diverse learners across multiple sites, tailoring physical education experiences to each student's individual needs. The position is exclusively on-site, offering you the opportunity to immerse yourself in dynamic educational environments and build hands-on connections with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications:

Valid California teaching credential required for Adaptive Physical Education. Strong understanding of adaptive curricula, instructional strategies, and IEP development. Experience in providing direct services and collaborating on educational teams. Excellent communication skills and comfort working across multiple school sites.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement adaptive physical education programs for students with varying abilities. Collaborate with teachers, aides, and therapists to create inclusive and effective learning environments. Travel between school locations within the district as an itinerant team member. Participate in IEP meetings and maintain progress documentation aligned with district standards. Foster an enthusiastic, safe, and respectful atmosphere that encourages student participation and achievement.
