Job Description

Our Learning Center is currently hiring an experienced PE teachers to join our In Person teaching staff. Our Center is designed for home-educated students. This is not a school! We are a Learning Center that prides itself on partnering with families to find the best educational opportunities for our students. We generally offer weekly 90 minute classes once a week on Mondays through Fridays from 9:30
  • 3:15. We are in need of a PE teacher to teach PE games and wellness on Thursdays, starting 9/10/26! 11:15

  • 12:45) This engaging Physical Education class is designed for children ages 6-9 in the Fundamental Movement Stage.
Through fun, structured activities, students will build essential movement skills while developing confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for staying active. Each 90-minute session focuses on helping children improve coordination, balance, and overall fitness in a supportive and encouraging environment. Activities include games, skill-building exercises, and group challenges that promote both individual growth and social interaction.
Core areas of focus include:
Developing fundamental motor skills and movement patterns Understanding movement concepts and basic strategies through play Building health-related fitness such as strength, endurance, and flexibility Practicing responsible behavior, cooperation, and teamwork Encouraging personal health, positive habits, and overall well-being Our goal is to create a positive experience where every child feels motivated to participate, learn new skills, and enjoy being physically active.   • 2:45) This engaging Physical Education class is designed for children ages 9-12 in the Skill Development & Sport Readiness stage.
Through structured activities and dynamic gameplay, students will refine movement skills, build athletic confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of fitness and teamwork. Each 90-minute session focuses on improving coordination, agility, strength, and overall physical performance in a supportive and motivating environment. Activities include skill development drills, group games, and introductory sport-based challenges that encourage both individual progress and collaboration.
Core areas of focus include:
Advancing motor skills and movement patterns Applying movement concepts and basic sport strategies Building health-related fitness such as strength, endurance, and flexibility Strengthening responsible behavior, teamwork, and sportsmanship Promoting personal health, goal-setting, and overall well-being Our goal is to create a positive and engaging experience where students feel empowered to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and enjoy being active while preparing for lifelong fitness and sport participation. Learning should be both fun and challenging, so we favor an approach that allows a teacher to differentiate successfully, allowing a child to achieve success and build on their abilities at a pace that is comfortable for them. We do not believe that a child's age determines their abilities, and therefore our classes allow attendance in a 3-4 year age range and we do not give grades for our K-8 classes. Parent feedback to ensure parents know what skills a child should be working on at home is necessary. Communication is done through Google Classrooms, which are maintained on a weekly basis, and directly with our parents. Class sizes are between 5-12 students. Fall classes start
