Job Summary Job Summary We are seeking a 3rd grade teacher for full-time, in-person, teaching at Vista Christian School and a part-time PE teacher for grades K-8. Classroom teachers are responsible for creating inspiring, enriching lessons utilizing our curriculum and standards to help students become critical thinkers and life-long learners. Teachers are also responsible for instructing and assessing students, managing classroom behaviors, supporting students socially and emotionally, collaborating with other school team members, communicating with parents, and helping with various school events and functions. These teaching positions begin on August 24, 2026. Full-time teachers receive standard school and national holidays. Salary is competitive and health benefits are included for full-time staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

Full-time Classroom Teacher position: Current multiple-subject credential, or be in the process of completing your teacher program having already finished student teaching, and at least 1 year of teaching or substitute experience preferred.

Part-time PE position:

Bachelor's degree required; some teaching experience preferred Candidates must be CPR/First-Aid certified within 60 days of employment. All applicants will be required to complete a written application before interviewing.
