POSITION:
ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION

SCHOOL:
High School
GENERAL DUTIES
Provide adapted physical education instruction to students with disabilities based on individual needs and IEP goals.
Implement strategies and activities to develop motor skills and physical fitness to support participation in physical education.
Collaborate with related service providers, teachers, and other members of the educational team.
Conduct Adapted Physical Education (APE) evaluations and assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor APE goals and objectives.
Maintain required documentation and progress reporting.
Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings.
SALARY:
Prorated 1/7 (as per the NFEA contract) equivalent to the number of sessions and minutes
SESSIONS PER YEAR
20 x 30-minute sessions
And 20 X 30 minutes sessions
