POSITION

: BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Long term substitute

BCBA SCHOOL

Elementary School

GENERAL DUTIES

The BCBA collaborates with members of the school team to design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans that meet the needs of students and families. The BCBA conducts and oversees functional behavior assessments, develops Behavior Intervention Plans, and designs and monitors discrete trial instruction. Additional responsibilities include analyzing student data, making recommendations based on student progress, and providing consultation, coaching, and professional development to teachers, paraeducators, administrators, parents/guardians, family members, and other members of the school-based team. The BCBA also participates in PPTs, interagency service-planning meetings, and other collaborative meetings as appropriate. May be required to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians in the building for compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Current Connecticut Comprehensive Special Education certification preferred (CT 065, 165, or 265) Strong collaboration, communication, data-analysis, and problem-solving skills

SALARY RANGE

$300

•$400 per day based on credentials and experience.
