Physical Education / Health Lead Teacher This is for 7-12 for the $750 stipend. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated Physical Education and Health Lead Teacher to facilitate and oversee our 7-12 physical education and health department. In this role, you will foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes physical literacy, lifelong wellness, and personal health habits. Beyond classroom instruction, plan and run department meetings and work with the two athletic directors to facilitate any departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Department Leadership:

Lead the PE/Health department and facilitate professional development and any departmental initiatives.

Safety & Environment:

Facilitate a safe, supportive physical environment; ensure proper equipment maintenance, CPR/First Aid compliance, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Health Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master's preferred). Valid State Teaching Certification in Physical Education and/or Health. Minimum of 3-5 years of successful classroom teaching experience; prior leadership or head-teacher experience preferred. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Strong communication, team leadership, and instructional technology skills.
