Job Description

Pinecrest Academy Avalon is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education (PE) assistant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles while supporting the academic and character development of all students.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education lessons aligned with state standards Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and safety Assess and document student progress and participation Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with faculty, administration, and staff to support school initiatives Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development as required
Qualifications:
Classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students Strong communication and organizational skills CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain) Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
