The ideal candidate will create engaging physical activity programs that promote physical well-being, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Prior university experience is preferred, highlighting a strong foundation in educational principles and physical education methodologies. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curricula aligned with school standards and student needs Lead students in a variety of sports, fitness activities, and exercises to promote physical health and skill development Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement Organize extracurricular sports events, competitions, and fitness challenges to foster team spirit and motivation Ensure the safety of all students during activities by enforcing proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education with overall student development programs Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and performance assessments Skills Strong knowledge of physical education principles, sports techniques, and fitness training methods Excellent communication skills to motivate and instruct students effectively Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student abilities Experience working within an educational setting, with university experience considered a plus Ability to foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth Organizational skills for managing equipment, schedules, and student progress records This position offers an enriching opportunity for passionate educators committed to fostering healthy lifestyles among students.
