ORION Education and Training is seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and much-needed structure for students (grades 6-12) within a secure facility in Wichita. This is more than just a teaching job; it is an opportunity to mentor and educate students in a safe, supportive, and restorative environment.
Key Responsibilities Instructional Leadership:
Deliver and adapt secondary-level physical education lesson plans to meet diverse needs.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a professional and consistent learning environment. You must remain calm and authoritative during periods of disruption or crisis.
Digital Integration:
Support and enhance student learning through the effective use of Google Classroom and other educational technology.
Academic Support:
Provide individualized guidance to ensure students stay on track with their educational goals.
What We Are Looking For Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education.
Licensure:
Secondary Teaching Licensure.
Core Skills:
Mastery of classroom management and strong communication skills.
