Organization Information The mission of the Henry County Public School District, through cooperation and communication among community, parents, and schools, is to provide a quality educational program which addresses academic, social, and personal growth for all students and empowers the students as life-long learners who productively contribute to an ever-changing world. Over 2,200 students attend the six schools in the district; one early childhood center (Head Start and Preschool), three elementary schools (Kindergarten-5th grade, including full-day Kindergarten), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). An alternative program on site serves the middle and high schools. Throughout the district, school personnel, parents, students, and community leaders are working together to fulfill the mission of the Henry County Public Schools.
