This contract opportunity as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher offers meaningful, student-centered work with a focused caseload of two 9th grade students, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027. Work closely with each student, providing tailored instruction twice a week for 30 minutes per session, ensuring quality and consistency in their adaptive physical education. Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Adaptive Physical Education or equivalent Experience working with high school students with diverse physical or developmental needs Ability to develop and modify lesson plans to meet individual education plan (IEP) goals Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, students, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver adaptive physical education instruction in accordance with IEP goals Assess students needs, design appropriate physical activities, and monitor progress Maintain accurate records and document session notes as required Consult with team members, including special education staff and parents, regarding student progress and adaptive strategies Inspire students to engage, participate, and achieve goals through creative and individualized support This position offers hourly W2 contract compensation between $37 and $41, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
