Job Description
Step into a rewarding role as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher supporting students across multiple school locations near Metairie, LA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite, traveling between 2-3 schools, with a primary focus on delivering adaptive physical education services to students with diverse needs. The start date is as soon as possible, with the assignment running through May 22, 2026. Your day-to-day will involve tailoring and implementing physical education activities, collaborating with educational teams, and adjusting your approach to best meet each student's unique learning requirements. The schedule is full-time at 35 hours per week, but part-time candidates are welcome, provided they can offer a consistent three-day weekly commitment. Reliable transportation and flexibility are essential, as you'll be serving both the East and West Bank areas based on district needs.
