Youll work closely with two 9th-grade students, each receiving dedicated adaptive physical education. The weekly commitment is focused and manageable, totaling just two hours30-minute sessions, twice a week, per student. Key Experience & Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Adaptive Physical Education or related endorsement Experience working with high school-aged students, preferably in adaptive PE settings Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and tailored instruction Strong communication skills for collaborating with other educators, therapists, and families Ability to create modified physical activities that foster inclusion and student development

Core Responsibilities:

Develop and implement adaptive PE curriculum based on student IEPs Conduct engaging, individualized sessions twice weekly per student Track student progress, maintain organized records, and provide feedback Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff as needed Foster an encouraging, safe environment that supports each students growth This is a W2 hourly contract role, offering a competitive compensation range of $37-41 per hour.
