Job Description

The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School District is in search of a Physical Education for the 2024-2025 extended school year. This is a part-time position and is based on student's needs and standards-based, curriculum-based physical education which has been adapted or modified to meet the individual needs of students with a disability.
Essential Functions:
As a direct service provider, the APE teacher evaluates, plans, and implements instructional programs in physical education for students with disabilities, as defined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Grade Expectations for Physical Education. As a consultant, the APE teacher helps other professionals to provide appropriate APE programs. APE teachersdevelop IEP goals, evaluate student progress towards these goals, and are integral members of the individual education plan (IEP) team.
