Job Description
Position Summary The YMCA is seeking an energetic, structured, and community-minded Physical Education Teacher to inspire a love for movement, teamwork, and healthy habits in elementary school students. This role is responsible for designing and delivering a dynamic PE curriculum for students in grades K-5 . Classes meet once per week per grade level , with the teaching schedule structured across three days ( Tuesday through Thursday , teaching two grade levels per day). The ideal candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment that aligns with the YMCA s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. An additional staff will co-teach to assist when behavior management and activity setup.
