Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Interim Pharmacy Manager/Director to lead and oversee inpatient pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. This contract role, based in Boston, MA, requires a proactive professional ready to step in promptly and manage key pharmacy functions, including staffing coordination as needed. The assignment is expected to last 3+ months, providing a chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency Lead and coordinate pharmacy staff, including recruitment and scheduling as needed Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care initiatives Optimize pharmacy workflows and resource allocation for improved service delivery
Desired Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Pharmacy License Proven hospital pharmacy management experience is essential Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
