Aug 25, 2026 Job Description Windham High School is seeking an enthusiastic and student-centered Industrial Technology/STEM Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. This position offers the opportunity to inspire students through hands-on learning experiences that develop technical skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and career readiness. The successful candidate will be passionate about preparing students for both college and career pathways while fostering a safe, engaging, and innovative learning environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Design and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction aligned with state standards. Develop students' technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Maintain a safe and organized laboratory/workshop environment. Integrate industry-relevant technology and practices into instruction. Build positive relationships with students, families, and community partners. Support career exploration and workforce development opportunities. The candidate must have an approved Maine CHRC and State of Maine Teacher Certification at time of hire.
