Aug 14, 2026 Job Description Cedar Springs Public Schools invites devoted educators to apply for the position of High School Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year . We are excited to engage with quality candidates who are not only results-driven but also committed to inspiring students to develop emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Candidates must have completed an approved program, and passed the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) Physical Education subject-area test Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with MB, MX, or MC endorsement preferred. Additional endorsements are preferred. Displays a high degree of knowledge in teaching pedagogy at the secondary level. Adept in best teaching practices practices Applies sound principles of learning and motivation in the planning, delivery and assessment phases of instructional delivery Commitment to the district's school improvement process and curriculum development efforts Experience and knowledge of quality instruction and classroom management Establishes positive relationships with students, parents, and school personnel Ability to communicate well at various levels with students, parents, and school personnel Evidence of a positive attitude and human relation skills Evidence of high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional matters High level of flexibility
