Key Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota DAPE (Developmental Adaptive Physical Education) license (required for consideration) Experience designing and implementing adaptive physical education programs preferred Ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse physical and developmental needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Dedication to advancing student inclusion and participation in PE settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver adaptive PE instruction to middle school students with varied abilities Develop and modify lesson plans tailored to IEPs and individual strengths Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust strategies accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Engage with parents/guardians to ensure consistent support for students Maintain accurate records of student performance and outcomes
Contract Details:
