Job Description

Andrews Academy Lake Saint Louis is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and child-centered Co-Physical Education Teacher to become a valued member of our school community for the 2026•2027 academic year.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to collaborate with an Co•PE Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate lessons for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students An ability to inspire a variety of engaging strategies for children to maintain good physical and mental health and wellness is essential Expertise to effectively communicate and coordinate with parents and coaches from other schools to arrange athletic competitions Ability to coach students to develop athletic skills and positive sportsmanship+
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field of study Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning in an innovative environment Ability to work in a collegial and highly collaborative environment Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with students, families, and colleagues
Teaching Responsibilities:
Assist in the growth of the social, emotional, and physical developmental needs of students in Kindergarten•Eighth Grade Teach a variety of sports and physical activities to meet the various ability levels across grade levels Collaborate with the Co-Physical Education teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that inspire children to be physically active, learn technique, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and develop lifelong habits for healthy living Be an active and collaborative member in the school community

$40,000.00•$43,000.00 per year
