Temp PE Teacher Job DescriptionJob Description At Sage Alliance Schools, we support students in grades 5-12 through rigorous academics paired with therapeutic services. Guided by care, resilience, and community, we prepare students to thrive inside and outside the classroom. Join our team and empower students to succeed. As a PE teacher at Sage Alliance, you will be responsible for guiding students in a supportive environment that values growth, safety, and connection. This is a temporary coverage position from August 24, 2026 to November 11, 2026. We welcome candidates interested in either part-time or full-time schedules. For part-time placement, the pay rate is $25-$28 per hour, depending on experience. For full-time placement, the prorated salary is $11,250 to $12,600, depending on experience. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Physical Education & Health, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science Valid state teaching certification, preferred Experience working with emotionally fragile students Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team What You'll Do Create a consistent, emotionally safe classroom where students can thrive Guide students toward achieving Sage Alliance curriculum goals with clear objectives Employ diverse instructional techniques and adapt to student needs Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and communicate with families Maintain accurate records and uphold Sage Alliance policies Sage Alliance Schools is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
