Job Description
Heritage Laparoscopy and Acute Care Surgery is looking for a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with an interest in various Major and Minor general and acute care surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will "First Assist" in the operating room, see pre- and post-operative patients in the hospital, as well as office post op and follow ups. We do not work with residents, therefore there will be no competition for your cases. "On-call" consists of one full week (7 days) out of five. The remaining weeks will be elective work and consist of availability from 9-5 with evenings and weekends free. M-W is usually office hours and Thur/Fri is typically operative days. This job is a combination of work, with an emphasis on an excellent quality of life. This person will become an integral part of our team, making a profound impact on the care of our patients, and treated with the respect they deserve. 1-2 years of Surgical experience is preferred.
