Job Overview:
As a Physical Education Teacher at SMART Academy, you will play a crucial role in promoting physical fitness and overall well-being among students. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement engaging physical education programs that encourage students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.Duties :
- Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that focus on developing motor skills, coordination, and teamwork.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to participate in physical activities.
- Assess students' physical abilities and track their progress throughout the school year.
- Incorporate elements of sports, games, and fitness exercises to enhance students' physical fitness levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects for a holistic learning experience.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Provide feedback to students on their performance and offer guidance on improving their skills.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in physical education to enhance teaching methodologies.
Skills :
- Proficiency in curriculum development for physical education programs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to tailor lessons to different age groups.
- Ability to mentor and motivate students to achieve their fitness goals.
- Competency in public speaking for addressing classes or organizing events.
- Basic math skills to calculate scores or measurements during activities.
- Creativity in designing engaging physical activities that promote active learning.
- Familiarity with copy editing, proofreading, and creative writing for developing educational materials.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$43,600.00- $60,000.
