This individual will play a vital role in fostering students' physical development, teamwork, and Christ-centered character through engaging and purposeful instruction. Position Summary The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering a comprehensive PE program for Pre K-8 students that promotes physical fitness, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits, all within a Christ-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate PE lessons for K-8 students Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness concepts, and a variety of sports and activities Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment that emphasizes teamwork and respect Integrate biblical principles and character development into instruction Ensure student safety and proper use of equipment at all times Organize and supervise games, activities, and potential school-wide events Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Education, Physical Education, or related field preferred) Teaching credential (preferred but not required) Experience working with children in an educational or coaching setting Strong classroom management and organizational skills A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian education Agreement with Morning Star Christian School's statement of faith To Apply Please submit resume and cover letter to
