Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Middle School PE Teacher and Tech Elective Instructor to join our vibrant educational community. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive physical education curricula that promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal health. Develop and deliver engaging tech electives focused on digital literacy, coding, robotics, or multimedia projects aligned with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies. Adapt instruction to accommodate various learning styles and meet the needs of students with special education requirements. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional modifications to enhance student learning outcomes. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming activities through parent-teacher conferences and written updates. Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement while ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards. Requirements Proven teaching experience with middle school students in both physical education and academic subjects such as math, literacy, or technology. Strong knowledge of curriculum development principles, instructional modifications, and assessment strategies including standardized testing preparation. Familiarity with learning technology platforms, educational software, and digital tools for classroom integration. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, parents, and administration. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs. Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques suitable for middle school learners. Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction complemented by experience working with teenagers in a school setting. Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and developmental stages within childhood development frameworks. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations such as AP style writing standards, Chicago Manual of Style for editing purposes, and curriculum implementation protocols.
