Teacher Job Description Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students in the assigned subject area(s) (e.g., Math, Physical Education)
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and instructional materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or child welfare setting
- Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject area(s) being taught (e.g., Math, Physical Education)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
