Teacher - Physical Education Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond Richmond, VA Job Details Part-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Subject-specific Teaching Certification Full Job Description All Saints Catholic School is seeking a part-time Middle School Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Essential Duties Instruction & Planning Develop and deliver daily lesson plans aligned with state and district standards. Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Classroom Management Establish and maintain clear expectations for behavior and learning. Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment. Manage classroom routines to ensure safety, orderliness, and instructional time. Communication & Collaboration Communicate regularly and professionally with students, families, and colleagues. Participate in department meetings, team planning, and school initiatives. Professional Responsibilities Attend work daily and fulfill all assigned responsibilities. Participate in ongoing professional development to refine instructional practice. Maintain accurate records, including grades, attendance, and required documentation. Uphold all school and district policies, including professional and ethical standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and experience:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in the relevant teaching area. Knowledge of instructional best practices, curriculum design, and adolescent development. Strong skills in communication, collaboration, classroom management, and problem-solving.
