Immediately Job Description Christ the King School is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and faith-filled Physical Education Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic environment where students develop physical skills, healthy habits, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. Position Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate physical education lessons for students in Pre-K through Grade 8. Provide engaging activities that promote physical fitness, coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and motor development. Teach and model teamwork, cooperation, leadership, perseverance, respect, and good sportsmanship. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all students. Adapt instruction and activities to meet the diverse physical, developmental, and learning needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress and communicate appropriately with families and colleagues. Supervise students during physical education classes, transitions, and activities. Maintain and appropriately use physical education equipment and facilities. Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration to support the overall academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students. Participate in school events, professional development, faculty meetings, and other school activities as requested. Support and uphold the mission, philosophy, policies, and Catholic identity of the school.
