Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking an enthusiastic, open-minded Limited Term Physical Education Teacher with a growth mindset to join our team of dedicated and innovative staff at our newly restructured regional middle school, Equinox Valley Middle School! The ideal candidate will be a strong, collaborative team member who is committed to continuing to work on their teaching practice through professional development both individually and as a team.

The Limited Term Physical Education Teacher will develop in each student an interest in and the ability to move with competence and confidence in a wide variety of physical activities in multiple environments that benefit the healthy development of the whole person. The Limited Term Physical Education Teacher will foster a passion for making healthy, active choices that are both beneficial to and respectful of a student's whole self, others, and their environment. The Limited Term Physical Education Teacher must have strong knowledge and understanding of working, planning, and assessing in a proficiency-based system.

The anticipated dates of employment are 9/14/26 to 10/28/26, following the school calendar and are subject to change.

Annual Salary Range:

$51,000 to $95,370, based on education level and years of experience; prorated in accordance with FTE
