Continuous Position Description Chaffey College is seeking applicants to teach Physics courses. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Physics instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's in physics, astronomy or astrophysics; OR Bachelor's in physics or astronomy AND Master's in engineering, mathematics, meteorology or geophysics; OR The equivalent. Valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an instructor in Physics in a California Community College; AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW.

COMPENSATION

Part-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
