Job Description

The Cabot United Methodist Church Child Development Center (CUMC CDC) is an important ministry of Cabot United Methodist Church, serving children and their families through safe, high-quality care and meaningful early learning experiences. Rooted in Christian values, the
CUMC CDC
strives to provide a loving and caring atmosphere where each child feels secure, confident, and valued. As an Arkansas state-licensed childcare facility, the center's policies meet or exceed the standards established by the Arkansas Department of Human Services. The Director of the Child Development Center provides leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the full-time childcare center of 140 children, age 6 weeks to elementary age, operating Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. The Director supervises staff, maintains compliance with the Arkansas childcare licensing regulations, manages budgets, communicates with parents and families, and promotes a high-quality early education program. The Director will have relational skills that demonstrate their care for the success of their teachers that helps to build morale among staff. They will strive for clear communication to be a top priority, so that strong relationships will be fostered with families, staff, and the church community.
Pay:
$47,500.00 - $52,500.00 per year
