We are seeking someone who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working closely with teachers and families, and can help maintain a warm, professional, and positive school environment. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the preschool Support, supervise, and guide teaching staff Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized environment for children Communicate professionally and warmly with families Assist with enrollment, tours, and prospective families Ensure classrooms and staff follow school policies and licensing requirements Help organize schedules, classroom routines, school events, and activities Maintain required records and documentation Support a strong bilingual Spanish-English learning environment Work closely with the owner to maintain and improve the quality of the program Help build a strong sense of community among children, families, and staff Qualifications Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting Previous leadership, director, assistant director, or supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of California childcare licensing requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lead and support a team Professional, reliable, responsible, and caring Comfortable communicating with parents and handling day-to-day preschool operations Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Early Childhood Education units and qualifications required for a preschool director position in California About Our Program We are a bilingual preschool serving young children in a warm, play-based learning environment.
