We are looking for someone who is highly organized, patient, positive, and comfortable communicating with both families and staff. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a school environment and genuinely enjoys being around children. This position is primarily administrative, with occasional classroom support as needed. Responsibilities may include helping in a classroom when a teacher is absent, coordinating staff coverage, and assisting behind the scenes with Chabad and preschool activities. The right person will be comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities, staying organized in a busy, fast-paced environment, and working with families from many different backgrounds. Honesty, reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude are a must. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the preschool office Communicate professionally and warmly with parents and staff Assist families with questions, forms, registration, and general school needs Handle basic billing and payment-related tasks Be highly proficient with computers and various software Maintain organized records and paperwork Provide classroom support or substitute in a classroom when needed Coordinate coverage for staff absences Help create a positive and welcoming environment for children and families
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 12 ECE units At least 2 years of office or administrative experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Very comfortable using computers and learning new software Strong math skills for billing and administrative tasks Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Enjoys working with young children and families Live Scan clearance Negative TB test
Preferred:
