We are seeking a Daycare Director to lead center operations, staff, and program quality. This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to build trust with families and staff. Full-time Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing positive relationships with parents, children, and families Welcome prospective new students and parents and conducting tours Processing new enrollment applications Supervise and provide resources to staff to work effectively with children Coordinate curriculum, review class lesson plans and program planning Planning and coordination of school events & field trips Attend training with the staff and coordination of training for the staff Record keeping including maintaining children's files, class schedules Supervise and direct staff, so that all efforts are made towards a quality program and efficiently run program.
Physical:
Employees will be required to daily sit, walk, stand, speak, hear and see (vision ability include close and color vision). Employees required to use hand/finger dexterity. Employees are regularly required to lift 10lb-30 lbs. Sub/Teach as needed in any age group (18 months to 6-year old)
Required Qualifications:
Must meet all state licensing requirements for a center Director At least 3 units in infant care Minimum 1 year experience as a Director or Assistant Director in a center licensed for more than 50 students. Bachelor degree is preferred. Experience working with Two's, Preschool and Kindergarten aged children Excellent verbal & written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Strong Computer skills including
