Job Description

Company Overview All About Kids Child Development Center is a small, independent, family-owned organization Job Summary We are looking for a caring, motivated, organized, and enthusiastic Assistant Director to help lead our center and create a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
What we are looking for:
  • 15 units, with a major emphasis in early childhood education from an accredited college or university. Three of the 15 units required shall be in administration or staff relations.
  • Basic familiarity with Title 22 child care licensing requirements and a willingness to learn.
  • Prefer at least 2 years of successful experience in a childcare center setting.
  • Possesses an ability to interact effectively with parents, peers, and administrative staff.
  • Maintains current CPR/Firstaid card.
  • Prefer holding a health and safety card.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must possess strong command of the English language.
  • Must pass an extensive background check according to California State Licensing standards for a state licensed Childcare Center.
What you will do:
  • Support the Executive Director with daily center operations and staff scheduling.
  • Encourage and support teachers in creating engaging, nurturing classrooms.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Assist with enrollment, records, and family communication.
  • Proficient in essential computer skills, including email management, calendar scheduling, data entry, document creation and formatting, spreadsheet management, file organization, and data input.
  • Help maintain a safe environment and support licensing compliance.
  • Step into classrooms as needed and lead by example.
  • A dependable, positive attitude and a genuine love of working with children.

From $25.00 per hour
